I’m Frank Wall, owner and licensed inspector for Warmland Home Inspections. With over 20 years of experience as a Certified Journeyman Carpenter, I have had the pleasure of working with and learning from many skilled trades people on a wide variety of custom building and renovation projects in Victoria, Haida Gwaii and here in the Cowichan Valley – “The Warmland”.
Experience has taught me that there are many ways to construct a home and a limitless range of materials and components that may have been used. Whether you have your eye on a mobile home, a brand new townhouse, a 40 year old rancher, a 100 year old heritage house or a modern mansion, my main concerns as an inspector are: Is it safe and are the systems and components within the home performing their intended function?
Since settling in the Cowichan Valley – “the Warmland” – in 2007, I’ve become an active member of the community and have developed a great appreciation for the people and pace of life here. I am an associate member of the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors, BC and will perform a visual evaluation which will provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge about the home, its components and systems. I will inform you of any major defects, help you understand the implications and direct you as necessary to a corrective resolution. Within 24 hours of the inspection, I will provide you with a clear and comprehensive report, including digital photos which help to highlight key points. In addition to reporting any deficiencies and potential failures, I like to include maintenance tips and other information to help you protect your investment. With my base of knowledge, I want to help you gain peace of mind about your new or current home.
