I've actually already recommended him last week to someone else.
Thank you Travis for all your hard work at finding everything wrong with the house. We originally saw it for like 20 minutes in a hurry because we had less than an hour to put an offer if we were interested. We learned the hard way that doing things in a rush manner give consequences of regret afterwards. Thanks to your inspection after the offer, we realized the house was 1/3 into a money pit. The sellers were willing to change the items they pretty much had no choice to change, roof and radon mitigation system, but they didn't want to fix anything else. They even wanted us to pay the difference from the future appraisal! Well we backed out and asked if they could pay half the inspection. They rejected the idea, so we're pretty bummed of the whole process with them.
We are however very pleased with the detail in your report, pictures, and calling us back twice when we had questions on the report later that week. While others may say your report is long, I don't think so! I'm a very organized and detailed person as you can tell with this comment, so I loved the report!

We chose Travis to conduct an inspection on a second home for purchase because he was so detailed with the first inspection he did for us (pictures and descriptions). Travis was highly personable and detailed. Before the inspection, he talked with me to make sure he had notes on the particular areas we had concerns due to potential high expense items to repair. He made sure to speak directly to us as the purchaser of the inspection, and made sure the seller's realtor was aware of this as well. He spent over an hour going through the house with us. He answered all our questions and was more than glad to get phone calls the next day or any time, stating he would always have his phone on him to answer further questions even during other inspections.
I would recommend him to anyone who wants a true buyers inspection. He paid extremely close attention to detail. He was also able to give names of contractors for HVAC, Radon, and Electric. Recommendations to seek specific inspectors of chimneys, roof, and electrical were given as he did not want to speak to specifics he was not an expert in.

Travis and Tracker are the best. I am a first time home buyer and I have heard bad stories about other inspectors. Looking at roofs with binoculars or other silly things. Travis, however literally inspected every square inch of the property. He was up on the roof, went through the tiny attic opening, and even the crawl space. His report was much more detailed then I could have imagined.
Beyond that he explained everything to me in detail in simple language I can understand. I cannot say enough, I am more then satisfied!
