Excellent. I thought it was funny that the selling agent said she used to ?hate? Randy because he was so thorough! But obviously she?s grown to respect him, because she?s the one who gave us his name. Maybe she regrets that now, because he discovered all sorts of unknown issues with the house. (But no, actually I?m pretty sure she agrees - better to know than to not know.) Anyway, he was very kind, could tell we were dismayed with all the problems, and within hours, sent us a precise, thorough report with pictures that I?m now using to get estimates for the necessary repairs. And, his timing was flexible & price reasonable. Will use again & recommend in a heartbeat!

Would absolutely recommend to any of my friends or family for home inspection. Our realtor had recommended several home inspectors, and Randy stood out as our choice due to his availability, experience, and pricing. We soon found out this was a good choice. He is reliable and punctual, as he started inspecting the outside of the property before we arrived for the 9am appointment. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and welcomed all of our (many) questions. As first time homebuyers we don't have extensive knowledge of the many home systems (ex. septic components, well, water heater, oil tank). Having a patient and knowledgeable inspector eliminated any concerns we had about missing potential issues within the home. He also provided the report on the same day as the inspection, which was a nice surprise as our timing was tight to get results to the seller. Overall, Randy exceeded expectations and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a quality home inspector in the Lakes Region.

Randy was fantastic to work with! He was accommodating to my schedule since I was driving from out of state to inspect a vacation home and he was already at work on the property when I showed up for the appointment. Randy let me follow him around and was happy to explain everything he was seeing in detail and answer all my questions. Very knowledgeable and thorough and he focused on the things that needed to be pointed out; it didn't feel at all like he was trying to prove he was smarter than you. Easy guy to get along with and we even chatted for a bit after the job was done. The full inspection report was promptly available the next day with all the details of his findings that we had previously discussed. He even cared about the job and his work enough to be interested to know how an inconsistency he had found turned out, since we would only be able to explain it upon opening a wall up after the fact. I also appreciated the fact that Randy took some extra time to help us clarify some questions that financing had a couple weeks later.
