Several items to mention: First - Ken did a quick review of the inspection with me in person after he was finished by going over the outside and the inside of the house in person. This was very helpful when reading the inspection document because I was already familiar with what was in it. The report has pictures of each line item and details conditions. Ken went over everything with a fine tooth comb. He found a list of items in the house that required my attention. What I really enjoyed about it was that he stayed in his scope and only recommended what services I should look towards to remedy these areas, and did not mislead me on anything at all. Ken did an exceptional job on our home inspection. He started with the outside inspection and by the time I was able to meet up with him, he was ready to detail all he noticed on the outside of the home. Ken was very detailed and CLEAR on what he found to be of concern (addressing/noting things that needed immediate attention, things that would need attention in the next 1-3 years, and things "to be on the look out for"). He was great in clarifying all my questions (of course the biggest one being: is this a structural problem, weather problem, or cosmetic problem). Once we moved inside, Ken did a thorough inspection of the home. I appreciated that I did not need to follow him through every inch of the home, and he only would point things out to me that he found concerning. Things I wouldn't have noticed or thought to look at he inspected or pointed out (i.e. our back door did not have a screen slider, the garage door sensors were higher than recommended, etc.). Ken's final report of the home was very detailed, pictures were clear and concise, and detailed everything we talked about and more! It was very easy to read and even someone that hadn't ever seen the home was able to follow it very easily. I would recommend Ken time and time again and will remember him when we purchase our next home.
