Was very thorough and found things (such as a possible crack in the slab/foundation) that were critical to making a smart decision in the purchase (or lack thereof) of the property. I cannot recommend Ken more highly. Not only did he impress me (a PhD in engineering), but he also impressed my father, who has been a contractor and home builder for over 30 years. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, and provided a frank and actionable account of the issues that arose during the inspection in his report. The report itself proved extremely helpful in generating the PICRA, particularly given that I am unrepresented by a Realtor for this purchase and the property is for sale by owner. Ken not only listed the defects, but also provided recommendations with regard to remediation and the level of knowledge/certification of the person who should be completing the repairs. I have already recommended Ken to a few friends who will be purchasing homes in the near future, and I glad that he was recommended to me. I have, in a past purchase in Pennsylvania, not been so lucky with my choice of a home inspector and later became aware of problems that a more skilled inspector like Ken likely would have documented. Ken provides great value at a very reasonable cost, and gave me great confidence that I had an accurate understanding of the property I'd be purchasing.
