This is the third time we have had an inspection report done by Jim Breer over the last 20 years and highly recommend him. I love the house that I am planning to buy, so I missed many things that must be addressed before a closing date is agreed upon. Jim was very focused, and organized as he evaluated every detail from building's exterior to the chimney repairs that were done. I believe the inspection took about 2 hours. My son was present for this inspection. Last November he bought a 3000 sq.ft. home in Williston which took only an hour. He said he wished that Jim had done this job because the inspector the bank hired missed several items of importance.
I would definitely recommend Jim's expertise, and he was very honest, polite and professional.

Put the word "thorough" into your Wikipedia search bar. Guess what comes back? Answer: Jim Breer.
My only fear is that if he inspected the White House, it would be condemned.
I've had a lot of homes inspected over the years, and Jim seems to be pretty much the gold standard.
If you don't take it all with a tiny grain of salt, you may never find a home to move into. But if you move into a home that Jim Breer inspects for you, you ARE going to know what you are buying.
And he will take the time patiently to explain his report to you, which is hugely helpful.

As a first time home buyer, I couldn't have picked a better home inspector.
