Paul came recommended to us and after having him conduct the inspection, I can see why he was recommended.
First, Paul was able to accept, schedule and conduct the inspection in a much shorter time than expected. He showed up on -time and was prepared. Paul is very easy to talk to and very professional.
Next - the inspection report. Simply put, WOW!! The report was very detailed and easy to understand. Any deficiencies were explained in layman's terms. He took photos of any and all questionable areas and included whether he felt the repair could be completed by a homeowner, handyman or professional. We are spending a lot of money on purchasing a home and I want a thorough inspection. Paul's attention to detail is truly appreciated.
Lastly - pricing. I don't know what is common or normal pricing for a home inspection. However, I feel Paul's pricing was more than reasonable and quite frankly, I was expecting to pay more.

I was very happy (though disturbed) about the thoroughness of the report. I would suggest one improvement - note the location of some of the items inspected - I had trouble trying to locate a few of the items inspected and can't figure out where the picture was taken.
I am hoping the results of the repairs/replacements that was submitted to the seller will make this home my "forever-home" and a safe and healthy place for myself and my mother. This report also helps me "see" what inspectors look at when selling this house in the future, and what I need to do for my Manufactured home that is in need of repair and updates.

As a first-time home buyer the whole inspection process can be very intimidating. I appreciate your professionalism, knowledge, and friendly service as you explained, in simple terms, all the things you were reviewing. I would have to say that Paul is by far the BEST home inspector that I could have had. He did a very thorough inspection and took the time to explain what he was looking for and why. The issues that he was able to uncover helped me to make the most informed decision I could for buying my home. His expanded services including the infrared helped to make me feel comfortable that there wasn't anything hiding behind the walls that I needed to worry about. Paul was thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable during the whole process and allowed me to be there the whole time (as the buyer). He is a fount of knowledge (and a good conversationalist besides). The thermal imaging we paid a little extra for was able to identify a leak we couldn't see otherwise and confirm with a water moisture meter as well as areas needing some TLC. This was a superb inspection and report: clear, thorough, and timely. The report will serve us very well in maintaining the quality of our new home.
