To start, Jeff could not have been more friendly. For someone who's job is to find any and all things that are wrong with a house, he delivered that information in a way that made it easier to accept. As anxious as we were prior to the inspection I never would've thought that the 2-hour process would've been close to enjoyable. Jeff was very thorough during the inspection and I can't imagine that he left a stone un-turned. He was also very knowledgeable about what he found, giving suggestions on how maintenance can be done by the homeowner (if possible) or when he would recommend a professional completing the task. Lastly, the report was delivered quickly and in an easy to read format. Overall, would certainly recommend Jeff and if he's not available I would think anyone else associated with Spotlight would be just as good!

Jeff was pleasant and professional. He explained every step of the inspection before and after he took pictures. He also informed me on what to expect from his inspection. He was very good and may have saved me from making a costly mistake, with moving forward in purchasing without a Home Inspection. He located previous mold that was previously hidden that was covered up by new paint. Only a trained eye would have noticed such. We had a great experience with Jeff and Bill at Spotlight Home Inspections. The home that we made an offer on already had a stucco inspection done by Bill Dare who we felt was very detailed. The existing home inspection was done by another company. Even though we were not the ones who ordered the stucco inspection, Bill was glad to take my calls and answer my questions. This made me feel very comfortable with Spotlight, so I decided to have my own full home inspection by them. Jeff Arms came out for that, and he was fantastic. He spent several hours with us at the home, patiently describing every nook and cranny in the home. He was able to explain everything and answer any questions that we had in a way that we could easily understand.
