Very thorough inspection. the only negative, if it is a negative, would be that I think regarding the cracked patio cover material, a more strongly worded statement that it should be repaired as when it rains water will be coming through on to the patio. To replace it all is not a minor expense. Other than that, I am very happy with the thoroughness of the inspection and would recommend Greg 100% to anyone asking about him or his company.

We are in the process of moving to Las Vegas from another state. Although we did a walkthrough of our new home and tried to check for structural issues, we were still nervous about missing something. We planned to use another home inspection service suggested by our neighbors, but they just found out their inspector "missed" a major AC issue and it cost them $5,000 to fix what should have been an obvious problem. We had been checking Yelp and fielding quotes, but there were several and they had mixed reviews. Luckily, our real estate agent had used Greg for his own home and recommended him highly. Greg saved the day! While we had read reviews for other companies and their thorough reviews of 60 or 70 pages, Greg gave us a 128-page report! We had initially asked just for the big-picture inspection for things like the foundation, the AC, mold or pest infestation, etc. but Greg takes his job seriously and did the most thorough job I have ever seen! Greg included things I would never have thought of checking, such as the water temperature from each tap, thermal imaging of the pipes, and pointing out where previous repairs had been made. I especially love that the report tells you what the inspector is required to check so that you know nothing is missing. The crystal-clear photos and videos were a big help as well, especially since we couldn't visit the property each time we had a question. Greg gave us peace of mind that we were buying a great house and we feel much more confident in our purchase now.

I liked the thoroughness of the inspection process used. It was not simply a walk through, Greg had the necessary instruments to check temperatures, water pressure, and electricity availability at each electrical outlet. So all major items were covered. The inspector found a circuit breaker that was weak, and could have been the source of a possible fire. It has been replaced! Thanks Greg. We even have a new A/C compressor, since between the time of the inspection and our walk through, the A/C failed!

Greg Plapp did a very thorough inspection of our new home that included roof, interior, exterior, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and an air quality analysis because there had been a mold problem in the past. He personally walked through the property with me and explained what he had done and what he found. The results were presented in a professional report that included photos and detailed explanations of any items in need of repair or replacement that could be shared with the seller to request repairs. When the air quality analysis showed an unusual result in one area, he re-performed the test to clarify the results. Overall, we were very pleased with the high-quality, professional inspection performed by Greg Plapp. We would not hesitate to use him again.
